Charlie Lewis, Business Development

What gets you excited about coaching?

Personal Development. I think everyone should always be improving and when it comes to growing your ministry as well as missionary partnership, coaching does a great job at accomplishing this.

What's your #1 tip for gaining new funding partners?

The Rule of 33. Spend 33% of your time with people in an earlier life stage than you. Spend another 33% of your time with individuals in a later life stage than you. And lastly, spend 33% of your time with people in your current life stage. Essentially, DO ministry, SEEK wisdom and ENJOY living. You do these things well and people will flock to whatever you are doing.

Where can we find you on the weekends?

At the lake, mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, hanging with friends, or really anything outdoors. Occasionally you can find me at the movies. A big sucker for an afternoon movie.

Where you have served as a missionary and as a fundraiser?

Was a YoungLife leader at 2 different high schools for 3 years, and I have been serving at my church for the last 2 and a half years on the teaching team. I also currently am on the fundraising committee for the non-profit Renaissance Creations.
