It's Okay to Allow the Funding to Begin the Relationship!

Think you can't "ask for funding" until you have a relationship with someone?

You can meet, ask for financial partnership, and then build the relationship; knowing that it's only the beginning of the relationship.

Don't talk to people only to ask them for money, it's not loving. Talk to people, giving them an opportunity to join your team impacting this world for Christ, and continue talking to them on a regular basis.

If you're excited to get them connected to what God is doing, that's the right reason to ask for funding! This is a beautiful gift to people and you can approach anyone, anytime because they need to hear about what God is doing, or is about to do, in a corner of this world. That's an amazing start to a relationship.

You can strengthen that relationship as you go, building on your ministry together!
