Use Your Tiny Bits of Time to do Big Things for Others

Unmanaged time tends to go toward our weaknesses. If you're like me, that means Netflix or games on my phone! Instead, when you choose to be intentional with the small pockets of downtime throughout your day, it's amazing what you can accomplish.

My personal favorite is to create a "5 Minute list". This is a list of things you can do in five minutes or less and train yourself to go-to, so rather than "killing" time, you can maximize time.

ACTING ON SMALL MOMENTS TO SHOW OTHERS YOU'RE THINKING OF THEM WILL SHOW THEM GENUINE CONCERN, REDEEMING YOUR WASTED TIME.

Waiting for an appointment? Text a few people to follow up on their decision! Waiting in line to get your kid from school? Reconnect with that friend on Facebook that you keep thinking of but not acting on. Sitting in class waiting for the teacher to show up or in the cafeteria for your friends to arrive? Make a list of people you want to reach out to that week and keep moving forward on a plan to connect. Acting on small moments to show others you're thinking of them will show them genuine concern, redeeming your wasted time.

We all have time somewhere. What are you doing with yours?
