What's your #1 tip for gaining new funding partners?

Work hard at building strong relationships. Most of my success in fundraising has come as a result of working hard to develop strong relationships with potential partners.

Tell us about a time where you helped someone overcome a significant barrier to successful fundraising.

I’d like to share a personal story about my journey in fundraising. Despite having been involved in fundraising for a long time, there was a period when I felt very intimidated by my abilities. In 2019, when my wife and I returned home from the field to have our second child, we needed to raise a significant amount of monthly support to accommodate our growing family and ministry needs. During this time, I worked with a Tailored coach who empathized with my insecurities and helped me identify and address what was holding me back. After that, I committed to the fundraising process, and within three months, we were fully funded. The key to overcoming my intimidation was realizing that I was inviting people to be part of what God was doing in the ministry. This shift in perspective made all the difference for me.

Where can we find you on the weekends?

Running, cycling or hanging with my wife and three kids.
