When God's Call Means a Long Fundraising Journey

Ready, beyond ready, to go and answer God's call to minister to people of a major metro area in Northern France. One family had a clear call and an undying vision to plant rapidly reproducing churches eventually led by locals, 80% of whom currently have never seen nor owned a Bible. 

Working through a two-year-plus fundraising journey, this family was beginning to see the path to France open before them. Given the timing of the end of 2016, they were prepared to make another exhausting fundraising push to get themselves onto the field, where their hearts already had moved. 

AN UNDYING VISION TO PLANT RAPIDLY REPRODUCING CHURCHES EVENTUALLY LED BY LOCALS, 80% OF WHOM CURRENTLY HAVE NEVER SEEN NOR OWNED A BIBLE.

With the desire to see this vision become reality, they sent a year end letter specifically to those on their contact list that had given a one-time gift or had previously said to ask again at a later time. The time was now! 

With hopeful hearts, the family knew the Lord would provide at just the right time, and sending those letters allowed them to see how He was preparing the way for their calling. By the end of the year, they were rejoicing in God's provision and setting a date of departure for April. How good it is to see the simple steps, timed right, and sent to the people who are interested can be God's provision for His calling and vision to be a joyful reality.
